In fact, “Freeway” Ricky Ross, the drug dealer, is calling the rapper Rick Ross, AKA, BOSS (or Bawse, if you please) a complete idiot. 

I have no doubt that Rick Ross stole his persona from the original Ricky. But then again, he’s a good rapper, and he’s gone his own way. This is an interesting case when you look at it from an INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS perspective. I mean:

Do you own your name and reputation? Or can someone spin your life into a fictional character for his own profit?
